A representation of the production of thoughts, as they emanate from the embedded experiences of everyday life or as they emerge from the memories and associations of the past is itself the core objective. Akhilesh Kumar brings forward a certain consciousness of the thoughtfulness of the human mind, the inherent nature of the thinking process and the trajectory that thoughts may assume over time. The thoughts that occur during analytical procedures of scrutinizing the world, the identification of social issues and an ensuing aspiration for a call to action are brought forth for acknowledgement. It is this on-going development of an intermingling web of thoughts that predominates the human predicament, the constant dynamism of the fluidity of this network and the temporality of it all that form the conceptual genesis of the artworks. Akhilesh explains his work, he metaphorically ties up the process of release of faces matter to the rejection of unwanted thoughts and ideas, ultimately leaving the toilet to be a fertile place for the germina - tion of new thoughts.
