Mallikarjun Katke, the soft spoken artist of team Po10tial whose works do the talking. Katke’s works explores the stages of experiences in life in a meaningful metaphor through various medium. He places his body, his earthly possessions and associations as the central pivot of art creation. He relies on personal experiences to ponder about his own character, behaviour and personality. His intention is to look deeply at issues surrounding self-awareness and identity. His works, consequently, have all the bearings of being autobiographical as well as confessional. Straddling both real and illusionary realms, it engages on several levels: with the past and the present; with the private and the public; with the enactment, enticement and encroachment.
